Honeybourne Primary Academy provides education for children from 2-4 years in the Nursery and from 4 to 11 years in the main school.
One of the school’s aims is to ensure that it is the ‘school of choice’ for all families and children in its catchment area. As an Academy, it is independent of the Local Authority and receive its funding from central government. Since September 2016 the school has offered a Year 6 provision. All pupils registered in school therefore, will automatically be entitled to a Year 6 place here, no further application is needed.
The original building dates back to the early nineteenth century but it has been extended more recently to accomodate larger numbers of pupils.
